Mindfulness for Real Life
begins July 17, 2017
Mindfulness for Real Life is for mindfulness beginners who want to feel less stressed and more comfortable in their lives and careers.
This is some of my favorite material to teach because I'm able to share the mindfulness tools that I have found most effective and easy-to-apply, then support you as you begin to use them in your life.
The biggest benefit for students who take this course is learning new stress and life management techniques and being able to share their experiences practicing them in a supportive group setting.
So during the course you learn something new, you have accountability and guidance on how to use it and you have the motivation of the group – both in class and in the private facebook group, so you’re much more likely to put the tools into practice.
And that’s the hardest part of trying something new – finding time, space and motivation to actually get started!
And let’s be real, things like mindfulness that happen mostly in your head are super easy to continue to put off.
Each week, we’ll go through different mindfulness theories and techniques that can be used at work, at home and on social media. You’ll practice learning the tools during class, then you’ll spend the next seven days adding them in to your real life.
In each class, there will be time for individual coaching and group discussion so you can learn more about your experience, about the challenges other people are having and about the results that everyone is seeing.
By the time we finish the four week workshop, you’ll have an whole new toolkit to deal with stress, anxiety and emotional overwhelm.
By then, you will also have been practicing mindfulness for 30 days, so you should be feeling lighter, less frustrated and more aware of your thoughts and feelings.
This is Mindfulness for Real Life so none of the exercises will be overly complicated or will involve hours of time each day. Most can be done in less than 15 minutes – and usually, in even less time than that!
Plus, it’s an online course so you sign in via webinar for all four classes, which means you can do it in your pajamas, from home, from the office or where ever is easiest for you. I’ll record and post each class, so if you miss one, you can get caught up quickly.
You’ll learn:
By the end of the course, you should feel:
-Able to implement your own mindfulness practice
